Neuways Limited, part of the Neustro Group, are seeking to employ Graduate Trainee Business Systems Consultants.

Neuways are providers and implementors of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP to companies around the UK. We are experts in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and are trusted by our customers to provide expert analysis and implementation services.
Due to growing demand from our customer base, we are seeking to recruit Graduate Trainees that have a degree related to Business Management.

You need to have all the correct documentation ALREADY in place to work in the UK before you apply for this role.

What will you do?

You’ll work with our Senior Consultants and Support Analysts to understand the functionality of Microsoft’s Cloud Based ERP system.

Learn how to map and document existing business processes (AS-IS) and understand how we can deliver the best practice business processes which take account of the unique things that make our customers special.

Learn how to document requirements specification for added functionality and prepare for any bespoke developments required.

Learn how to specify and document reports that meet our customers reporting requirements – you may learn how to develop the reports too.

You’ll document the new processes and turn this into training support material – you’ll also learn how to deliver effective training courses to end users, so they feel confident in the use of their new, critical, business system.

You will gain an understanding about if, and when, you should migrate data from legacy systems, how it may need enhancing and supplementing, and what will make for a successful data migration. You will learn how to undertake the technical aspects of data migration.

Setting up new companies in the system with the appropriate parameters along with user profiles that provide access to the correct functionality for the role and attendant security permissions.

You’ll experience the challenge of the go-live process where we move a customer from their legacy systems to their new integrated business system.

You’ll be part of the team that will provide on-going support during the first few weeks of use of the new system and then continue to provide expertise to the customer as they continue to optimise their business system investment.

As you learn and mature into the role you will have the opportunity to specialise in different areas such as finance, CRM, warehousing or manufacturing.

The role, potentially, involves a lot of travel and you may be working away from home for several nights a week – you may occasionally have to work some weekends during a go-live.

You’ll meet and work with all types of businesses from manufacturers, distributors, service organisations and more, across many industries.

As your training continues and you become more experienced you may choose to specialise in a particular area such as warehousing management or finance.

Job Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st/2nd line support to our customers – triaging calls and solving them or escalating them to our Consulting colleagues.
  • Set up and maintain users as required for our customers.
  • Set up and maintain environments for new projects and refresh and maintain as required up to go live.
  • Contribute to the development of customisations by checking functional specifications and applying any technical knowledge that you have.
  • To test developments.
  • Document Business Processes.
  • Be the first point of contact with our clients.
  • Log, diagnose and resolve client support calls via email, phone and portal.
  • Document problem descriptions and resolutions in the helpdesk system for each case.
  • Work with customers, colleagues and Microsoft and third-party vendors to investigate, test and develop solutions to resolve client issues.
  • Communicate the status of issues to clients and to the team.
  • Identify high priority customer issues and escalate to management.
  • Work alongside the senior consultants within the delivery team and aid in the delivery of Business Central projects if the opportunity arises.

Key Relationships

  • Senior Business Central Consultants – assisting them by providing back up services such as developing training and testing.
  • Development Team – ensuring that specifications are reviewed for quality before development and testing after they are delivered.
  • First line support – assisting colleagues with calls from our D365BC customer users and helping them resolve the issues – taking responsibility for issues that cannot be resolved by the fist line team and escalating calls to our Consultant colleagues or Microsoft as required.
  • Our Customers! – delivering superb service and developing great working relationships with our clients.
