Job Description

Purpose of this job (or Department Overview)

The IT Manager – Warehouse Management Systems collaborates closely with Red Bull’s Operations Department and our Distribution Center and will use fact-based analyses and insights to leverage existing SAP solutions to best support our business. This position requires subject matter expertise on warehousing and logistics combined with detailed system knowledge about SAP EWM (decentralized on S/4 Hana). You will work on projects and initiatives for our new distribution center that will help to improve efficiencies as well as initiatives in Logistics Execution. Understanding of end to end processes and the overall data flows across Red Bull’s systems in addition to data integration and data exchange topics will enable you to identify cross departmental optimization opportunities. This position will report into the IT Senior Manager, Logistics and Supply Chain, providing him with 1st / 2nd level support, and collaborate with our global IT team headquartered in Austria.Responsibilities

#TEAM LEADERSHIP


Act as subject matter expert for Warehousing processes and systems and logistics integration. Identify areas of need and build a strong team to strengthen IT’s partnership with Distribution Center, Logistics and Supply Chain Departments.   Provide IT expertise while ensuring systems and services are performing. Lead and cultivate talent to cover current and discover future requirements.

#WAREHOUSE PROCESSES


•Act as IT partner for the distribution center leadership team on  system related warehousing processes
•Management of the IT roadmap regarding enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements
•Act as IT SME for inbound, outbound, and supporting warehouse processes based on SAP EWM and its integration into SAP TM
•Understand process steps and data flows end to end across involved systems (warehouse automation)Collaborate with architects to design, implement, and steadily improve our logistics execution process in our Distribution Center
•Manage enhancements from requirements gathering to implementation and go live
•Provide with your team support for issues appearing in the communication or processing of data
•Monitor industry trends and innovations which will help to elevate our warehousing solutions and strategy

#INTEGRATION


•Enhance existing and establish new Middleware connections relevant for your area
•Monitor and troubleshoot existing Middleware connections
•Deep understanding of data and messages exchanged with external partners and systems within the logistical execution process
•Own SAP integration points into warehouse automation
•Validate, align process and system changes with IT Infrastructure stakeholders
•Provide support for issues appearing in the communication or processing of data

#PARTNER MANAGEMENT


•Establish and document Standard Operating Procedures with the external service provider
•Define support strategy and manage SLAs with service provider
•Prepare and conduct quarterly partner reviews

Experience Needed

•5+ years of experience in SAP EWM
•SAP TM experience is beneficial
•Excellent understanding of RF based solutions (for instance ITS), HU Management, Batch Management, MFS, PPF
•Comprehensive understanding of integration points into best of breed 3rd party solutions (for instance Parcel Integration Software)
•3 SAP EWM full life cycle implementations
•5 years of experience in a functional IT role
•Strong knowledge of the SAP technical system architecture
•Demonstrate high level analytical and problem-solving skills
•Proven project management skills
•Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
•Work independently in an international environment

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or BusinessLanguage RequirementsFluent in English; additional language skills an advantage
