Job Description

As an Integration Specialist at Fountain, you will be responsible for helping us achieve the full potential of the integrations we build and working alongside a global software development group, directly with our customers and our key technical partners within the HR, payroll and recruiting space. As a new role on the Implementation & Onboarding Team, this role is essential to defining how we go about enabling these integrations thus enhancing our efficiency during and post-implementation and in turn, further elevating the customer experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the implementation of 3rd party integrations to improve products and services 
  • Own the inbound integration pipeline and work with pre-sales for scoping potential integrations and Customer Success Team to prioritize the pipeline 
  • Building new and reused integrations using middleware tools such as Workato or Zapier
  • Create Integration Summaries and Documentation for customers and development team
  • Work closely with developers & engineers to drive the product integration roadmap related to new integrations and product workflows 
  • For file transfer-based integrations, work with partners to enable, test and validate integrations 
  • Define strategies for how to rollout new integrations for new and existing customers
  • Design interim integration solutions and document best practices 
  • Handle customer communications and setting expectations to drive maximum adoption 
  • Own the A to Z of new integrations through tracking and monitoring, testing and troubleshooting 
  • Manage and prioritize concurrent integrations 
  • Consistently and effectively communicate with all the relevant stakeholders

What you should bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering or Customer Success Engineering role or have managed and built product on top of 3rd party platforms and have other relevant external-facing experience 
  • Experience working with both software developers and directly with customers, translating technical deliverables and project status to non-technical users
  • Experience working with API collaboration tools and workflows 
  • Excellent Project Management skills and ability to pay attention to the fine details 
  • Experience working with ATS, HR, Payroll systems a plus (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP)

Nice to have:

  • Ability to query and manipulate data through SQL and one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python)
  • Experience with middleware integration tools such as Workato, Dell Boomi, Zapier, etc.
