Job Description

Overview: Avaratak Consulting is seeking an IT Implementation Project Manager to join our dynamic Project Management Office (PMO) team. This role is pivotal in facilitating the successful end-to-end implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client satisfaction. As a key player, you will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, closely collaborating with client teams to understand business needs and ensure project success. Your mission includes fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, the project team, Oracle, and implementation partners, while managing communications throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the PMO and project teams to align on business objectives, program goals, timelines, and requirements.
  • Oversee project resources, including in-house team members and external vendors.
  • Work in partnership with the selected system integrator to oversee all implementation phases, ensuring compliance with the Statement of Work.
  • Monitor project quality and report deviations from the set program approach in line with client standards.
  • Utilize project management tools effectively for planning, tracking issues/risks, and facilitating regular project team interactions to meet project milestones.
  • Manage project budget and financials, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Contribute to Steering Committee discussions by developing relevant content.
  • Coordinate with Change Management, Training, and Communications teams to deliver consistent project messaging and ensure timely information dissemination.

Requirements:

  • US Citizens Only
    A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing large-scale, complex technology projects, with a preference for those involving enterprise-wide implementations across varied business lines and geographical areas.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in tactical project management, including detailed planning and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Experience in monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on project progress.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a PMO environment with diverse team members.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft DevOps is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Agile certification is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large system implementations, particularly ERP/HCM systems, with a strong preference for Oracle HCM exposure.
