About the Role
A US-based IFS Partner is looking for an experienced IFS Technical Solution Manager (TSM) to lead the technical solution development for customer projects. In this role, you’ll be responsible for shaping, managing, and coordinating all technical aspects of IFS ERP implementation, ensuring seamless execution from pre-sales to post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Ownership: Define, oversee, and guide the technical deliverables for IFS implementation projects, based on the solution proposed during the sales phase, ensuring alignment with the overall project goals.
Project Coordination: Act as the primary technical contact, fostering collaboration between the customer, project managers, and technical teams to ensure efficient and effective communication.
Technical Activity Management: Coordinate all technical project tasks, including Configuration, Reports, Integration, and Modification (CRIM) development activities, ensuring timely completion.
Resource Planning: Anticipate and allocate technical resources as needed, working with delivery teams to secure appropriate support for project success.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
Design Oversight: Lead the design of CRIM components to ensure a robust, scalable technical solution that meets customer requirements.
Customer Guidance: Provide expertise in technical configuration, security setup, and system administration within the IFS environment, supporting customer teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
Experience: Minimum of 6 years in software development, systems engineering, or a related technical role, ideally with experience in a technical lead or architect role.
ERP Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in implementing, customizing, or supporting a major ERP/FSM or enterprise system.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of multi-tiered enterprise application architectures.
Experience in system administration functions such as security, user profile setup, and configuration management within ERP/FSM systems.
Solid background in Oracle databases, PL/SQL programming, and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with test automation, performance testing, and high-volume data migration.
Travel: Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
